Description
Portrait of 4671 Private (Pte) Herbert Alexander Mouat, 6th Battalion. A barman from Poowong, Vic, Pte Mouat embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Themistocles (A32) on 28 January 1916. He was wounded in action, sustaining a gunshot wound to the spine, on 28 October 1917 and transferred to hospital in England where he later died, on 28 September 1918. (See also H06113)
