Description

Original grave marker for 3160 Private (Pte) Cyril Justin Joseph Gleeson, 57th Battalion. A farmer from Ceres, Vic, Pte Gleeson embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Medic (A7) on 16 December 1916. He died of wounds on 3 May 1918 and was buried in the Vignacourt cemetery. He was 20 years of age.
