Sweetheart Brooch with Rising Sun and 8 Australian Division Signals colour patch : Corporal D F Graham, 8 Australian Division Signals

Triangular perspex sweetheart brooch. A light blue triangle flanks a smaller dark blue triangle bearing a gold and red rising sun. In the centre of the rising sun is the 8 Australian Division Signals colour patch. Made from a press mould with a brooch pin fitted to the reverse.

Associated with VX52218 Corporal Donald Francis Graham, 8 Australian Division Signals. He enlisted on 27 March 1941 in Royal Park, Victoria. He was taken prisoner in Singapore on 17 February 1942 and was kept as a Prisoner of War in Osaka, Japan. He was discharged on 21 December 1945.
