Description

Turned wooden biscuit barrel made from the glued laminated propeller hub of a German Pfalz fighter shot down near Armentières, France, in January 1918. The barrel is lined with aluminium and the design includes a carving of the "wings" insignia worn by pilots of the AFC and two brass handles.
