Footage includes service personnel celebrating Christmas and drinking, including a performance with one man dressed in a toga or as Jesus; medical personnel administering medications by syringe; haircutting; a bar featuring colourful murals; a game of cricket, volleyball; demonstrations of weaponry including rifles and rocket launchers; 'Last Chance saloon'; company unit boards including 7RAR's Road Runner sign; firing of artillery; a soldier setting an accoustic guitair alight; aircraft landing at an airfield; soldiers preparing to embark at a large airport; shower facilities; camp scenes, including letter writing, eating; sandbag emplacements; local civilians and street scenes in a village; various aircraft; scenes of the harbour and city of Hong Kong, including Haw Par Mansion; arial views of Vietnam; various aircraft. The film comprises four reels of original footage that was used, in part, for Super 8 Soldiers.
