Description
Bar of toilet soap made in the Changi Prisoner of War Camp Soap Factory. Originally brown but now with a grey external film. One end has partially broken away. Original hand written label has stuck to the bar and is now no longer legible.
History / Summary
The Changi Soap Factory produced washing, carbolic and toilet soap using palm or coconut oil and potash extracted from wood ash.
