Description
Three unidentified soldiers of the 5th Battalion serving in the Suez Canal defences, holding rifles sitting outside a shelter made with waterproof sheets. The soldier in the centre is smoking a pipe and the soldier on the right is smoking a cigarette. At this time the Battalion had just arrived back in Egypt from Gallipoli.
