Cricket Ball : RAAF v RAF at Lord's Cricket Ground, London

Red leather cricket ball made from four quarters and reinforced around the centre with six rows of cotton stitching. The ball shows signs of wear and the makers details and specifications of the ball have been worn away.
History / Summary
This ball was used during the Australian innings in a cricket match between the Royal Australian Air Force and the Royal Air Force. Held at Lord's on 11 September 1943, the RAAF won by three wickets.
