Barbed wire entanglements
Description
Barbed wire entanglements along a beach in Melbourne. Edward Albert Douglas Watson born 1920, served as an official war artist in Australia, New Guinea and Borneo from 1943 to 1946. He became the youngest artist to take the Wynne Prize in 1942, and then won it again in 1945. He died in 1972.
