Warrant Officer David O'Keeffe
Description
Depicts a portrait of (12367) Sergeant (later Warrant ) David O'Keefe, DCM and Bar, for his work as a stretcher bearer at Ploegsteert Wood, during the Battle of Messines, 1917. He gained a bar to the DCM for rescuing wounded in an artlillery bombardment at Passchendaele of the same year, 10 Field Ambulance, AIF, Third 1st Australian Imperial Force.
