Description
Laden supply train moving from Belah to Gamli (Deir el Belah) 1930. This is the first of a series of eight paintings accompanying the Palestine dioramas. The series illustrates the Egyptian Labour Corps and the Camel Transport Corps transporting supplies (food, water, clothing and medical supplies) from Deir el Belah on the Mediterranean coast of Palestine through the desert to the troops in battle.
