Description
The remains of the Warneton Tower (front view). The tower was originally built inside a house as camouflage, but the house was destroyed. The tower was also destroyed by a direct hit of a 15 inch Howitzer shell from 5 Gun, Royal Marine Artillery (RMA), after a months bombardment with smaller ammunition.
