Bombing (Darwin series, 13)
Description
On 16 June 1942, twenty seven Japanese aircraft made a high altitude bombing attack on Darwin, hitting and destroying oil storage tanks and damaging parts of the residential and business area. This was one of a long series of attacks which began on 19 February, 1942.
