Searchlight crew (Darwin series, 14)
Description
Eight young soldiers, crew of a searchlight, the oldest is 21. They are cut off from habitation except for the ration-boat which comes every day with food and mail. During the day they swim, fish and the aborigines teach them how to spear fish etc. At dusk the searchlight is brought out from hiding in the trees.
