Bailey bridge
Description
A military training film produced by Merlin Film for the Ministry of Information illustrating the principles and uses of the Bailey bridge designed by Mr Donald Colman Bailey. Demonstrations are by the Royal Engineers. Scenes include Field Marshal Sir Bernard Law Montgomery in staff car crossing a Bailey bridge over Sillaro River, Italy.
