Description
General shots of civilian internees wandering around after release from Japanese internment camps. A few shots of released Australian POW. Allister Greig of Western Australia, artist, displays some of the work he has done from memory, using improvised materials. Internee manufacturing spectacle frames from tooth brush handles. Singapore dock area; Japanese POW. Identified personnel include: Mrs Dunnel of Melbourne, Helen Latta, Tommy Farthing ex-Sydney Jockey, Mr Watts Dunedin New Zealand.
