Description
Balikpapan, Borneo, 26 July 1945. A platoon of pioneers from the 2/27th Infantry Battalion move up river on a DUKW to build a landing stage at a forward supply dump. They are shown on board a DUKW on river, in jungle cutting timber for landing stage and opening and eating Australian army rations.
