Shaggy Ridge
Description
General coverage of attack on Shaggy Ridge. Bombing and strafing by B-25 Mitchell Bombers. Vickers guns giving cover to troops moving along the Ridge. Troops moving along the Faria River cross from side to side as they work along the valley. Forward company kitchen sheltering behind a cliff which at the time was the front line. Native carriers bringing food water and ammunition forward. The actual attack on the Japanese positions. Wounded being evacuated. Private Eric Knight of Crows Nest is treated for wounds at Regimental Aid Post.
