Memorial to fallen unveiled at Tobruk (Australian Diary No 18)
Description
The unveiling of the Tobruk Memorial by Lieut-General Sir Leslie Morshead on 30 April 1948. Also shows old Saints Church which is the British Memorial to those lost at sea, the El Alamein Cemetery and the wall of the petrol depot at Tobruk on which have been painted the formation signs of all the major units of the British 8th Army.
