6th Division Cavalry, Darwin
Description
Welcome home by the GOC Major-General Herring to his men of the 6th Division Cavalry Regiment. These men fought in Libya and Syria and at one stage were using captured Vichy French tanks. Their job if an enemy force should land, will be to make immediate contact with the enemy and send back reports of their troop dispositions. Parade of the regiment's Bren gun carriers.
