Lines of communication Mubo
Description
Mubo, New Guinea, 18 March 1943. The story of supply to the forward troops, who are in contact with the retreating Japanese. An Independent Company and part of an AIF battalion are taking part in the actual patrols. Captain Johns, Vet Officer, doctors horses etc. which have been rounded up all round the hills and makes them fit for pack transport. Major McCaddy addresses Australian troops. Lieutenant Colonel Star conducts a funeral service over American airmen lost in a transport crash. This transport was supplying our troops when it crashed. AIF troops move up and harry retreating Japanese. Some of the supplies are being carried.
