Parachute training
Description
Official British training film produced by G B Instructional Ltd for instruction of paratroopers. Shows the principles of how to leave the aircraft, control the parachute in flight and correct landing. Scenes of paratroopers in training using elastic belt apparatus, slides and ropes. The paratroopers first jump conducted from a balloon and from a converted Whitley bomber. Also shots of jumps from Douglas C-47 Dakota transport aircraft.
