Description

Hawker Tempest fighter aircraft code SA-W of No 486 Squadron (Sqn) RAF takes off from airfield [probably Newchurch, England]. Aerial shots of Tempest SA-Z of No 486 Sqn RAF in flight. Various shots from taken from the ground of Tempest performing aerial manoeuvers. Tempest SA-W lands and taxis on airfield. Scene change to pilots scrambling to Tempest fighters of No 3 Sqn RAF [probably Newchurch, England] to intercept German V-1 Flying Bombs. Various shots taken from the ground of Tempests attacking V-1s. Two shots of V-1s destroyed one explodling mid air while the second one crashes into the sea.
