Exercise tests joint forces
Description
Exercise "Sky Call" - a joint Army RAAF exercise in the Singleton/Putty area. Over 100 men took part in the large scale exercise, held in the rugged mountain ranges near Singleton. The headquarters was set up at Dochra airstrip, and from there RAAF Caribou transports, Iroquois helicopters and light army aircraft supplied the forward troops in the mountains with fresh food and equipment. Wing Commander Mahood and Brigadier Hartridge discuss the progress of the exercise.
