On the third day of his tour, the Governor General visited the 9th Australian Division accompanied by General Officer Commanding (GOC) 1st Australian Corps, Lieutenant General Sir Leslie J Morshead KCB KBE CMG DSO ED and GOC 9 Australian Division, Major General G F Wootten CBE DSO.
