Description
Bulldozer pushing aside logs and clearing path through jungle. "Tac R" aircraft flying low to pick up message. Road side sign reads "Sweat made this road, speed will break it." Engineers using mine detectors sweep the road. Tree stumps are blasted with gelignite. Construction of corduroy road using logs. Troops stacking sandbags to reinforce sea wall. General Sir Thomas Blamey CBE KCB CMG DSO ED, inspecting troops of 2 Australian Corps Guard. Caterpillar tractors hauling 150mm guns along road.
