Firing at Wewak
Description
Established on Wewak Point, "F" Troop, 52nd Battery, 2/2nd Australian Field Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery, are shown blasting a Japanese position on Cape Moem. One barrage alone sent over 2,000 shells across. Guns are in positions occupied by the enemy only seven days earlier.
