General Freyburg's visit to AWM
Description
Arrival of General and Lady Freyburg at the steps of the Australian War Memorial and their meeting with the Director Colonel Treloar and the curator Mr G Nicholson. Coming through the entrance. Colonel Treloar points out some features of the building to General Freyburg. Inspecting the sand model of Anzac, it was in this area that General Freyburg won his Victoria Cross. Inspecting the model of Desert Patrol. Entering Aeroplane Hall. Inspecting paintings in the picture galeery. General and Lady Freyburg throw money into the Pool of Remembrance.
