Visit of Air Vice Marshal Ky to Australian War Memorial
Description
Visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of South Vietnam Air Vice-Marshal Nguyen Cao Ky to the Australian War Memorial. The Prime Minister, accompanied by the Hon. Peter Howson, MP, Minister for Air, was met on arrival by the Hon. Allen Fairhall, MP, Minister for Defence, the Right Hon. J D Anthony MP, Minister for the Interior, and Mr W R Lancaster, Director Australian War Memorial. Prime Minister Ky introduced the Australian official party to members of his entourage then placed a wreath on the Stone of Remembrance, after which the visitors departed to attend a cabinet meeting at Parliament House. Australian War Memorial attendants Mr J Rowan and Mr H Payne carrying wreath.
