HMAS Warramunga
This film though titled 'HMAS Warramunga', does not show a full shot of the ship. All scenes were taken from Warramunga when she was part of Task Force 74. Warramunga was in the 9th Destroyer Squadron. Shows the landings and bombardment in New Britain, New Guinea, Admiralty Islands, Dutch New Guinea, Schouten Islands, Morotai in the Malaccas. There are shots of officers and crew, in training and in action. Information taken from tape recorded by Dr Harbison during showing of film at 21st re-union of HMAS Warramunga, April 1967 (See scene list). Identified crew are: Lieutenant William K Tapp; Surgeon Lieutenant Ian C Galbraith; RANR; Lieutenant James L W Merson RAN; Gunner Malcolm H G McDonald; Leading Seaman Howlett; Petty Officer Anderson; Commander Neil A MacKinnon; Lieutenant James R Wilshire (Radar Officer).
