Dustoff Vietnam (DPR196)
Description
Methods of casualty evacuation and hospital treatment available to troops in South Vietnam. Shows troops in jungle, wounded soldier being transferred via a 'dust off' helicopter and being transported to the 1st Australian Field Hospital at Vung Tau. Footage of operating theatres in use and soldiers in wards while recovering. Wounded soldiers are also transported back to Australia for further treatment if necessary via a RAAF C-130 Hercules air ambulance.
