Informal portrait of United States Navy Captain Meneley and Major General Smith of the Australian Army standing either side of a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter engine cowling during a transfer parade at the NATO Role 3 Multinational Medical Unit (MMU), Kandahar. The engine cowling was used as an emergency stretcher in the evacuation of casualties off a Black Hawk helicopter which crashed on 21 June 2010 in Northern Kandahar, Afghanistan. The engine cowling is held in the National Collection of the Australian War Memorial.
