Folder containing copies of 12 letters written by Field Marshal Lord William Birdwood to various people between 19 July 1916 and 16 September 1918. Some of the correspondents in this file include William Morris “Billy” Hughes (Prime Minister of Australia), Major General Sir Ernest Dunlop Swinton, Edward George Villiers Stanley (17th Earl of Derby), Major General Sir Neville Maskelyne Smyth VC, and Colonel Courtney Clarke Manifold.
