Description
Letters relating to the First World War service of 2430 Lance Corporal Wilfred Denver Gallwey, 15th Battalion. The letters were written to various members of his immediate family in 1919. In these letters, Gallwey writes of his leave over the Christmas period, including his attempt at flying, and his subsequent return to Australia on 9 March 1919.
