Description
Mauser Model G98 Sniper Rifle. Bolt action receiver has German proof marks, Gew 98, 1917 and the serial number. This rifle is fitted with a 4X telescopic sight made by C.P.Goertz Berlin, serial number 99 (18869 underside) and has a leather eye pad. The rifle has a brown leather sling and a fore sight cover accessioned as REL/00582.004.
