Description

Cablegrams relating to the First World War service of Major Geoffrey Gordon McCrae, 7th Battalion. This series of cablegrams are addressed to McCrae’s father George and detail his son’s hospitalisation and convalescence. They detail McCrae’s transferral to various hospital units, promotion to the rank of major, and updates on his condition. This file contains:
