Description

Tom Millane, as Captain Field Operation Research Section (FORS) in Nui Dat, Vietnam 1968 - 1975, interviewed by Stuart Bennington. Born in Melbourne on 2 November 1931, Tom attended Melbourne Technical School and lectured at the college in electronics and computer technology. He also worked as a scientist of the Weapons Research Establishment in Salisbury, South Australia, as well as a scientific advisor to the Malaysian Ministry of Defence. Tom discusses the development of computer technology during the Vietnam War.
