Studio portrait of 2157 Private (Pte) Charles Crouch 46th Battalion (seated), and a friend identified only as 'Bob'. Pte Crouch was declared Missing in Action on 11 April 1917 during the First Battle of Bullecourt. A subsequent enquiry concluded that he had been killed. His name is recorded on the Villers Bretonneux Memorial.
