Collection of 9 photographs related to the service of 22015 Rodger Arthur Broom, Australian General Base Depot. The images include portraits of Rodger Broom; members of the "Carpenters Shop" Australian General Base Depot 1919; a medal presentation at Australian Engineer Training Depot at Brightlingsea, England, featuring an officer with a wooden arm and a sergeant awarded the DCM and MM and a stopover at New York on the journey to serve on the Western Front. The visit to New York includes a recruitment rally, meeting with the sister of Captain R J Lewis (killed in action 17 July 1916) and US Army soldiers aboard the troopship.
