Informal outdoor group portrait of members of the Baxter-Bruce family with Captain (later Wing Commander) Stanley (Stan) George Brearley, late of 69 Squadron (Australian) Royal Flying Corps (RFC) and other unidentified acquaintances at a makeshift airfield at Woodsome Estate Homestead, 35 kilometres north of Perth. This location was later to become the Royal Australian Air Force Base Pearce. Identified, left to right, an unknown child with a coat over their head, Robert Baxter-Bruce, unidentified, Ken Wilson, Iris Baxter-Bruce, unidentified, unidentified, Captain Stanley George Brearley DFC, unidentified. The pilot in the cockpit is also unknown.
