Description

Messerschmitt 262 jet engine injector plug. The plug is a multi-part 'L' shaped assembly, 118mm long along its major axis and 51mm long along the minor axis. The minor axis is the fuel supply end, while the major axis terminates in the injector body and needle. The fuel supply end is 11mm internal diameter, with a male thread of 16mm outer diameter, while the injector end is 9.31mm internal diameter x 15.7mm outer diameter. The needle is solid, blunt ended and of 3.3 mm diameter. The injector is of steel and alloy construction, one end of which is partly covered with a dark crimson red dried residue, while the other end is covered with carbon deposits. The injector is marked with 'onr' above 'G.Nr-9-4164 A1'
