Description

Correspondence relating to the post-war service of Mary Anne ‘Bessie’ Pocock, New South Wales Army Nursing Service Reserve (NSWANSR) and Australian Army Nursing Service (AANS). The correspondence in this file primarily relates to the period in which Pocock, having returned to Australia after the war, established and ran a convalescent hospital at Chatswood which she named ‘Ismailia’.
