Description
A farewell party held at the Parkwood Homestead by Neil Kilby for his friend Stuart Weller before Weller left for his Naional Service commitment. Identified at the far left is Alan Grieve. One of 477 colour 35mm transparencies taken or collected by 2784336 Signalman (Sig) Stuart Lindsay Weller, 104 Signal Squadronr relating to his service in Vietnam between 1967 and 1968. Sig Weller notes that Alan "... was offered, and was able to take up, the Rotary Youth Leadership Award I had initially been given but had to decline when I was informed I had to begin my National Service training on 20 April, 1966. The award program was for a week, to begin on 24 April, and about all I could say was I had a prior engagement."
