Description

Letters and papers relating to the Vietnam service of 1731007 Allen James May, 6 RAR. The letter dated 25 August 1966, describes in detail his experience of fighting with D Company, 6 RAR in the Battle of Long Tan on the 18 August 1966. Also in the collection are two hand written accounts of the same battle written on a later date.
