Collection related to 2784336 Signalman Stuart Lindsay Weller, 104 Signal Squadron, and his service in Vietnam between 1967 and 1968.
View of the tent in which 2784336 Signalman (Sig) Stuart Lindsay Weller, 2784085 Sig Colin James Wiley, 5714255 Sig Alan Munro Booker and 39023 Corporal Barrie James Edwards, all of 104 Signal Squadron, lived in while on active service in Vietnam. One of 477 colour 35mm transparencies taken or collected by Sig Weller relating to his service in Vietnam between 1967 and 1968. Sig Weller notes: "Instead of just erecting a blast wall out the front of the tent - as we were required - we 'acquired' some steel fence posts, and after driving them into the ground were able to then attach an awning and entrance cover, which was made from an infantry 'pup tent'. I’m sure 39023 Corporal Barrie James Edwards would have done the carpentry work on the awning."
