Collection related to 2784336 Signalman Stuart Lindsay Weller, 104 Signal Squadron, and his service in Vietnam between 1967 and 1968.
Description
View of the tent in which 2784336 Signalman (Sig) Stuart Lindsay Weller, 104 Signal Squadron, lived in at Nui Dat, Vietnam. One of 477 colour 35mm transparencies taken or collected by Sig Weller relating to his service in Vietnam between 1967 and 1968. Sig Weller remembers that the photograph was taken early in his tour, as the tent had not yet been 'renovated': "The square of timber leaning up against the blast wall became a basketball backboard that was later attached to a pole, which was then attached to a large rubber tree just out of shot to the right."
