Memories of a Digger by Cliff Lovett
Description
A video recording of Mr Cliff Lovett's presentation of an account of his war service titled Memories of a Digger at the 2 July meeting of the Rotarty Club of North Sydney. Mr Lovett's recollections include training in Australia at Menagle, arrival in England aboard the troopship A40, an inspection by King George, the conditions of front line life, the battle at Passchendaele, the 37th Battery at Morlancourt, a German attack and the loss of many comrades.
