Xmas box for members of 1 APC Troop DPR/TV/327
Description
A Christmas box was made up for members of 1 Armoured Personnel Carrier Troop in South Vietnam and detached from the newly raised 1 APC Squadron at Puckapunyal. Presents were sent to the unit by the Next of kin of the members in South Vietnam. Unit cooks made a cake weighing 35lbs and two 10-15lb puddings, also included were the personal gifts, nuts, magazines, local home town papers and small items, finally 1 dozen bottles of champagne. Identified personnel: Trooper (Tpr) John Trebilco of Sandringham VIC, Tpr Wally Grieg of Puckapunyal VIC, Tpr Trevor Johnson of Seymour VIC.
