Littler, Charles Augustus, DSO (Captain, b.1869 - d.1916)
Description
Letter written by Charles Littler to his mother 25/12/1915 from Lemnos, claiming to be the last man to leave Gallipoli through his work as beach master. Letter to his mother 9/4/1916 written at the time of his taking command of 52 Battalion. Photocopy of the "Age" newspaper article on "Littler the last ANZAC to leave" 29/3/1990.
