[3 Troop 'B' Squadron 3 Cavalry Regiment, Vietnam 1969-1970] / Hugh Carlyle

This footage was filmed by Trooper Hugh Carlyle who was killed in action on 18 February 1970. Trooper Carlyle never saw these films as they were sent back to Australia for processing. The following description was adapted from information provided by Robert Taylor who also served with 3 Cavalry Regiment. Shows bridge across 'Song Co May' taken facing south from APX grid Ref. 378573. This is the only road between Baria and Vung Tau this bridge is APX 3 Km South of Baria and Shows a bus heading north across bridge. Panning to the right shows a boat with Long Son Island in the background. Recreation leave in Vung Tau Badcoe Club. Some where on that same road heading toward Vung Tau (Route 15).
